Unleashing Creative Freedom on Two Wheels

By The One Motorcycle Show on Here Is Oregon

Over the years, The One Motorcycle Show has transitioned from old warehouses to bigger venues like an old foundry.

"Each show is cool in a different way," Drake observed, highlighting the ever-evolving nature of the event.

The audience's diverse perspectives contribute to the sentiment that every year is unique, with attendees often citing different years as their favorite.

The event not only showcases innovations on a global scale but also serves as a platform for the unique style of builders in the Pacific Northwest.

"You don't have to be the best at it; you can kind of do it in your own way in your garage," Drake emphasized, promoting the inclusive nature of the motorcycle community. “I hope to inspire future generations to get their hands dirty and embrace ‘do-it-yourself’ culture that is thoroughly represented in our show.”

The One Motorcycle Show is not just an event: it's a celebration of a way of life. Custom helmet art is a unique way to showcase the personality of the bike rider beyond their two wheeled machine — it’s also a way for fans to connect with their favorite artists. At the event, the helmet art display opens an opportunity for people who may not be able to afford an entire motorcycle but can take home a one-of-a-kind helmet.

“We try to add all these different layers like art and music are serve as bridge builders for people to participate,” said Drake.

The show has also become a powerful force that strengthens and unites the motorcycle community.

“The show used to always be in February during Valentine’s Day so there are a lot of sweet Valentines that have gotten together in the show and now have families of their own,” laughed Drake.

On how he wants his show to be remembered Drake said he hopes that people outside the motorcycle world try to find something good about the motorcycle world and participate.

“There is something for everyone,” he said. “I want to inspire people to see it in the different way.”

Join the celebration of 15 years of The One Motorcycle Show, where the past, present and future of custom bikes and motorcycle culture collide in a thrilling symphony of metal and rubber.
