Indian Motorcycle's Legacy and Innovation at The One Motorcycle Show

Indian Motorcycle stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of American motorcycling. For over a century, Indian has been at the forefront of innovation, craftsmanship, and performance, captivating riders with its iconic designs and rich heritage.

Since its inception in 1901, Indian Motorcycle has been synonymous with excellence in the motorcycle industry. With pioneering innovations like the first American V-twin engine and the legendary Chief model, Indian quickly established itself as a dominant force, earning the admiration of riders and collectors worldwide.

Indian made its debut at The One Motorcycle Show during its special 10th anniversary at the Pickle Factory February 8 - 10, 2019. When Men’s Health Journal predicted things would heat up with Indian as Title Sponsor, boy were they right. We’ve been going strong the last 5 years.

With Indian Motorcycle as the title sponsor that year and in celebration of their 10th annual show, Indian and The One Moto Show unveiled a very special Indian FTR 1200 customized by Thor for the event. The bike was displayed at the show and later raced at The One Pro Super Hooligan Race.

Indian Motorcycle has been an integral part of The One Motorcycle Show ever since, and we're stoked to have them back as we celebrate our 15th-year anniversary from April 19th to 21st.

At this year's show, Indian Motorcycle is proud to unveil the all-new #IndianScout. Born from icons and ridden by legends, the Indian Scout represents the epitome of American cruiser design.

As one of the first American cruisers produced over 100 years ago, the Indian Scout has always represented iconic American design. While the new Scout features class-leading technology and unrivaled performance — key design elements remain, drawing a clear line from where we’ve been, to where we’re going with a silhouette that shines with heritage and tradition. Leveraging the timeless style and perfect proportions that make up Scout’s DNA, the all-new Indian Scout has been reshaped into the most capable American cruiser available today.

A legendary balance of power and control are also part of Scout’s DNA, and the combination of classic cruiser comfort and low center of gravity put the all-new Indian Scout in a class of its own. A fully redesigned SpeedPlus1250cc liquid cooled V-Twin engine delivers up to 111HP and is designed to sit perfectly within the all-new steel tube frame.

The all-new Indian Scout proves the best can get even better with the addition of rider centric technology such as standard ABS braking, an easy-to-read fuel gauge, an LED headlight and three trim levels to choose from. Three ride modes, as well as traction and cruise control are available in the Limited trim, while Limited +Tech adds a keyless ignition, and all the amazing features that come with the 4” Display powered by RIDE COMMAND and integrated RIDE COMMAND+ connected technology.

With class-leading technology and unrivaled performance, the new Scout pays homage to its heritage while pushing boundaries with its silhouette that exudes tradition and innovation.
