So Yeah... Bocas Del Toro, Panama. Why this. why now?

This trip giveaway didn’t come from a marketing plan or a whiteboard or anyone saying “what if we did a tropical activation.”
No. It came from family. Getting out, and bringing family and community together over the holidays. Sitting on docks too long, saying “ok just one more day” like six times... and wishing more people could experience the one we were having right then.
Bit of the back story... Thor’s mom lives on the island. yes, actually lives there, and has been for over 25 years. Panama is apart of the Thor x One Show Story, even before The One Moto Show began. Imagine (I’m sure you can) getting groceries, visiting neighbors, everyday routines on 2 wheels, everyday... and it’s THAT everyday, that’s the island life. Over the years Bocas just became… a place we go, a second home, not to escape, exactly, but to remember how to exist without rushing everywhere and enjoying the ride with everyday life.

what bocas is (and isn’t)
bocas is not fancy.
 it’s not curated.
 it doesn’t care if you’re impressed.
It doesn’t care to impress you, it encourages you to be inspired by YOU.
the water is stupid blue. like offensively blue.
 the rain shows up whenever.
 you will get sand places you didn’t know sand could get.
you might:
ride a tiny moto to nowhere specific
eat fish that was very alive just minutes ago
wave at strangers and then somehow be friends with them tomorrow or for life.
Then you lay down, forget the day, but not the experience.
there are beaches you “stop by” and then don’t leave.
 there are docks where conversations get weird in a good way.
 there are spots we don’t even know the names of but always end up back at.
it’s slow. not boring slow. like… your shoulders drop slow.
why we’re giving this trip away
because the one motorcycle show has always been about more than motorcycles.
 it’s about people. community. chosen family. the stuff that sticks with you after the weekend ends.
this giveaway isn’t about luxury or flexing or doing something big for the sake of big.
 it’s about sending someone somewhere that matters to us.

sunset after a warm rain that sneaks up on you
the moment you realize you’re not checking your phone anymore
everyone in the family has a different favorite thing and they’re all correct.

this one is personal.
 we’re genuinely excited about it.
Feeling the community around you and immersing yourself within it. Having a moment with ONE’s self and remembering why you are where you are.
